AGY :: Strength in Materials
Worldwide supplier of glass fiber yarns, reinforcements and high performance materials

AGY PRODUCTS IN AEROSPACE MARKET

  Many critical products used in the aerospace market use fiberglass when strength, dimensional stability, corrosion resistance, weight and cost performance are considered. Both E Glass and S-2 Glass® reinforcements offer unique reinforcement properties, including strength, fiber toughness, tensile and compressive modulus, and impact deformation that are critical to high performance aerospace applications. Fiberglass reinforcements perform well across a wide variety of resin systems that are used in the aerospace market.

Applications:
Uses of AGY fiberglass products in the aerospace market include the following:

  • Helicopter blades
  • Aircraft flooring
  • Aircraft fuel tanks
  • Cargo liners
  • Aircraft interiors
  • Aircraft structural parts

Products:
AGY offers a wide range of high performance S-2 Glass products for a variety of applications.
