CONTINUOUS
FILAMENT YARNS Continuous filament yarns consist of
a defined number of E Glass filaments of a certain nominal
diameter, brought together to form a strand. A size is applied
to the strand to prevent abrasion during additional processing
and/or to make the glass compatible with various resin systems.
A twist is also added to add strand integrity.
