AGY produces and sells the following families of fiberglass products:

E Glass yarn is a natural, lustrous, white, continuous filament yarn, which is evenly twisted on supply packages. The yarns are made of glass of high stability and durability and are, with the exception of sizing ingredients, inorganic, incombustible and will neither expand nor contract with moisture changes. The glass composition meets the certification for E glass as defined by ASTM’s D578-00 Standards Specification for Glass Fiber Strands.

S-2 Glass® products are the ultimate in high strength glass fiber products that provide the highest level of performance available in all glass fibers. Produced with a higher level of silica than standard glass fiber products, S-2 Glass fibers offer the ultimate physical properties including high tensile and compressive strength, high temperature resistance, and improved impact resistance.

AGY Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) is a unique glass fiber reinforcement product used as an input in the production of flat sheet laminate, marine parts and accessories, and other products where its strength and durability make it the most cost-effective material to use. CFM increases the mechanical performance, such as stiffness and strength, of products, as well as their resistance to chemicals.

AGY L-Glass™ yarn is produced from a proprietary glass composition and is designed for use in high-speed printed wiring board applications. L-Glass yarns provide a much lower dielectric constant and dissipation factor than E glass yarns. The improved dielectric properties are also attractive for radome applications.

AGY S-1 Glass™ products are high strength glass fiber products that provide a higher level of performance than traditional E Glass products. S-1 Glass fibers offer enhanced physical properties including higher tensile and compressive strength, higher temperature resistance, and improved impact resistance over traditional E Glass products and are designed for use in a wide variety of applications.

S-1 HM Glass™ fibers were designed to offer best-in-class value performance in the highly competitive wind energy composite reinforcement market. S-1 HM Glass fibers are a new glass formulation available as a roving package only which offers the highest tensile modulus glass fibers available worldwide measuring 90 GPa, by ASTM D2343.
