Glass products are made exclusively by AGY and are supplied
to a wide variety of markets and end use applications around
the world. S-2 Glass fiber has been selected and qualified
over other fiber materials for demanding applications such
as helicopter blades, aircraft flooring and interiors, vehicle
and vessel armor protection, fireman and scuba bottles, and
high strength timing belts.
S-2 Glass fiber is certifiable and meets military
specifications MIL-R-60346, Type IV for rovings and MIL-Y-1140H
for yarns.
